Anonymous Resources

Current Projects

Note: Due to time constraints, I will unfortunately no longer be able to update this site.

The most visible aspect of Anonymous is the global protest it holds every month, but there is a lot more going on behind the scenes. You don't have to ever appear in public to be an effective member of Anonymous. Some other things you can do include:

Tell everyone about Scientology. Sure, it's obvious, but it's also very effective. Maybe your friends and family won't actually join the protests, but at least they'll know better than to fall for the Church's scam - and they'll say something if one of their friends talks about joining. Besides, you might just be surprised who you know that's already interested in the struggle, and just needs a little push to get involved!

Flash raids. If someone finds out that Scientologists have set up stress test booths or are selling books, a small group of 2-5 people can be quickly organized and dispatched to that location in a matter of hours. Often the mere presence of Anonymous protesters will cause the Scientologists to pack up and go home. Participating in flash raids is mainly a matter of getting in tune with the larger Anonymous community, either through the WhyWeProtest forums or by some other means.

You Found The Card. Print out business cards (or anything, really) with the URL YouFoundTheCard.com on them. Leave them in public places for people to find. Scientology books in libraries are a particularly good spot. The YouFoundTheCard website is a quick introduction to Scientology and its evils, aimed at the general public.

You Found The Cash. Stamp your money (bills) with YouFoundTheCash.com and enter them into circulation. The URL redirects to the YouFoundTheCard website. There are plenty of websites where you can order a customizable ink stamp; just do a Google search. Red ink is the most noticeable.

Blogging. Sounds simple, right? Start a blog about Anonymous and/or Scientology, and post regularly. But not as many people are doing this as you might think. It's just one more way to spread the word.

Online advertising. Buy an ad on a website and advertise an anti-Scientology website... again, YouFoundTheCard.com is a good choice. One of the best ways to advertise cheaply online is through the Project Wonderful network. Using Project Wonderful, you can advertise on literally any budget, from a few cents to hundreds of dollars. I've used these guys before and can vouch for them personally; they're great.

Google Bombing. If you have a website, why not do your part to help point Google searchers in the right direction? It's simple. Link the word "Scientology" to an anti-Scientology site (like Operation Clambake) and link the phrase "dangerous cult" to an official Scientology site (like the Scientology home page). So, for example: Scientology is a dangerous cult. Now if people go searching for information on Scientology, they'll be sure to find the right stuff high on their list!

Write to your local government representatives. If we send out enough mail, they might actually start listening. A quick Google search should tell you who your local representative is. Remember that paper mail makes a much bigger impression than e-mail, and well-thought-out writing makes a much better impression than ranting. In the United States, the main goal is to get their tax-exempt status revoked; learn more about that here.

Have art skills? Why not put them to work at Anonymous Comics?

Of course, the above is only a sample; there are always more projects to get involved in. Check out the Current Projects forum on WhyWeProtest. This thread in particular is a good introduction.
